There are people pictures on this page taken with a camera and also a charcoal portrait of a Chinese boy in the people pictures that was taken in Longtan Park, Beijing, as the subject of the drawing was viewing the artist's work. The Chinese people pictures series is made up of people pictures from many different parts of China. The Tongmu people pictures includes one of a Chinese woman making coolie hats whilst sitting outside on the pavement. From Yangshuo on the Li River comes another in the people pictures collection, the Chinese man with tethered eagle for which a fee of a few cents was paid to take the picture. Each of the Chinese people pictures from Shunyi County were taken when the war tunnels were more of a tourist attraction than for any other purpose.

Chinese People Pictures Reflect Diversity Of China.

The pictures of Chinese people reflect the diversity of China. Very few of the people pictures are posed. The Chinese farmer and son had their picture taken when a group of tourists visited their "show-place farm", situated on the Chungking to Dazu road. During another arranged visit to China one of four Minority Group Boys in Xishuangbanna was the only one showing any interest in the camera. The boys were at the roadside when we walked down a dirt track from a small commune near Jinghong. The families were living in stilted houses but the only people we saw, except for one middle aged woman, were either very old or very young.
In the people pictures from closer to home, young Danny in London was enjoying himself so much at the Chinese Wedding Banquet, his inclusion in the people pictures was of no interest to him !
