Many of the Kung Fu schools in China are found near Dengfeng and the Shaolin Temple. Undoubtedly the most well know Kungfu school in China is that of the Shaolin Temple itself. Because of the fame attached to the Shaolin Temple schools, many other Kung Fu schools have opened in the area. These schools are commercial schools that are devoted in one way or another to the teaching of Kungfu skills. The larger Kungfu schools have students numbered in thousands rather than hundreds, for they are very popular. Each Kungfu school has its own particular school uniform, sometimes in more than one color.
